How to Request a Custom Packaging Quote

A useful packaging RFQ is specific enough for production review. You do not need every detail finalized, but the more accurate your size, material, artwork and quantity are, the faster a factory can quote the right route.

Start with the packaging style

Name the package type first: folding carton, cosmetic box, gift box, clear plastic box, label, sticker, sleeve or retail packaging set.

Send measurable details

Factories quote from size, material, thickness, printing, finishing and quantity. Photos are helpful, but measurements make the RFQ usable.

  • Product type or packaging style
  • Finished size or dieline
  • Material and thickness if known
  • Printing colors and surface finishing
  • Window, insert, handle or adhesive needs
  • Order quantity and expected reorder plan
  • Usage, industry and packing method
  • Shipping country and delivery timeline

Share artwork status

If artwork is ready, send the file after first contact. If not, send brand color references and explain which panels need printing.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can I request a quote without artwork?

Yes. Send size, packaging style and quantity first. Artwork can be reviewed later, but final pricing may change if print coverage or finish changes.

Why is shipping country needed?

Shipping country helps review export packing, delivery route and communication expectations for the quote.
